Turns out that Polly didn’t depart on the same day that the new bicycle arrived. That would be too much for us to handle emotionally anyway. Our original Polly had to go somewhere to thaw out, not to be confused with drying out, but maybe it is the same thing in the portapotty world.

We finally got the water running in the house, so don’t need to have an outdoor facility any longer. Habits die hard, so it takes some real restraint to head to the front hallwall instead of outside to use the bathroom. The yard seems empty without our our blue Polly.

According to the FedEx tracking, the bicycle is still in Lenexa, Kansas. Guess it likes it there. I thought that it might get back on the road today after sitting in Kansas for the weekend. Guess not. Hope it beats the predicted snowstorm on Wednesday, which is the estimated arrival date.
